Amnesty & The Trouble With Ted Cruz

Senator Ted Cruz lashed out at Republicans for supporting a bill that would provide a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants. Cruz thinks that a bipartisan push to grant amnesty would destroy Republicans chances at retaking the Senate in 2014. 

"Right now, Republican leadership in both chambers is aggressively urging members to stand down on virtually every front: on the continuing resolution, on the budget, on the farm bill, on the debt ceiling,” Cruz said in a statement provided exclusively to Breitbart News on Thursday.

Cruz was also praised by arch-neocon Jennifer Rubin in the Washington Post recently, claiming that he was striking a more "Reagan-esque" note on foreign policy.
